We love trees...we love being in them, under them, up them, gazing at and nurturing them. Yep we're right ol' tree huggers! Trees are one of nature's great gifts to us - producing oxygen, regulating climate, providing habitat, shaping landscapes, bearing thousands of varieties of fruit and providing us with renewable energy and building resources. We're lucky to live in an amazing part of Western Australia packed with hundreds of varieties of beautiful trees, shrubs and wildflowers. Nature is a huge part of our lives and we love sharing our love of nature with you!
To celebrate National Tree Day during 2014 we'll be planting trees in our own backyard and getting out amongst nature but we also wanted to make a contribution to our local environment and give a shout out to our awesome customers. So we've made a donation to our local Landcare group for native tree planting - yey!
Our donation will plant a native tree for each of our lovely customers who has joined us since our online launch in April. We've also sent each of our customers a beautiful postcard (below) as a lil' thank you for their support and to let them know about our Tales of Trees month during August. How could this beautiful pin cushion hakea not brightened someone's day?
As an Ecolosophy fan you should be darn proud that you're supporting a growing eco-enterprise that cares for our community and environment. By supporting us you're helping to grow awareness about sustainable living and helping us make a positive impact in our environment. Go give yourself a big pat on the back!
So during August make sure you follow us on our social networks or subscribe to our blog to share our Tales of Trees - our celebration of all things trees - over the next month. Enjoy National Tree Day - go get your hands dirty!
